Instagram is telling all of your business, here's how to control it.

As of July 10th, 2025, ALL public content from professional Instagram accounts can now appear in Google search results. šŸ“±āž”ļøšŸ”

Your posts, Reels, carousels, and captions = potential search results, and the Instagram app is no longer requiredĀ for viewers to see your content!
If your account is private, you don’t have anything to worry about (yet). But if you have a public account and you haven’t seen the notification yet, this is what it looks like:
WHAT DOES THIS SEARCH UPDATE MEAN FOR MARKETERS?

  1. Instagram is no longer a walled garden—it's now a full SEO asset:
